Frances (nee Echols) (Cotton) Medlock was born in 1827 in Georgia. She was the daughter of George Echols (b. 1802 - d. bef. 1880) & Sarah Echols (b. 1805 and d. bet. June 27, 1880 and June 6, 1900).
